. That's why I'm giving it 2 stars in the Easy to Install category. I bought this to replace the strap in my semi-old Hoover Elite II model 430 that was starting to lose. It fits, but it takes quite a bit of effort to tighten the belt so it's snug on the motor drive shaft and roller brush (I had to use a large screwdriver shank to help with the task). But one day it works wonderfully. My only concern is that the belt is made in China. The original belt on my vacuum has been around since 1990 and I doubt the replacement will last that long. But for the price I can't complain.
