🧹 Hoover Upright Vacuum Cleaner Belts (Pack of 2) - Part Number 38528040 Review

The belt on our Hoover vacuum broke so I ordered it to have a replacement. They look durable and can even survive a vacuum. 6 screws need to be removed for installation. Tensioning the belt between the motor and the roller brush requires some effort.

you have to be very careful what you order. They were too small for our vacuum cleaner. although he said it's a coincidence, it's not. I was later able to find information that guided me to the correct belt sizes. For the money it wasn't worth the hassle of sending it back and one strap was damaged when we tried to use it, confirming it was too small (too tight).

Repaired an old Hoover stand that was otherwise working fine. No need to spend $$$$ on a new car or even $$ at a garage. The new belt was fairly tight but impossible to install; The whole procedure took about 8 minutes. And there's no way to beat the price; I really hope I don't lose the second belt before I need it!

These belts DO NOT FIT model; UH71009. About 1/3 smaller than the original strap. As you can see in my photos. A NOTICE. . That's why I'm giving it 2 stars in the Easy to Install category. I bought this to replace the strap in my semi-old Hoover Elite II model 430 that was starting to lose. It fits, but it takes quite a bit of effort to tighten the belt so it's snug on the motor drive shaft and roller brush (I had to use a large screwdriver shank to help with the task).
