2005 Honda CR-V Poor grip at times. After watching a few videos on the internet I was confident that I would replace it myself. The starter arrived within 2 business days. The method I used was the one that shows the work through the top of the engine, with a few differences. I have removed the front metal bracket and battery, disconnected the throttle body from the intake manifold and have NOT removed the antifreeze hoses from the throttle body. Leaving the hoses on the throttle body will prevent the antifreeze from leaking out. Be sure to remove the front metal bracket (you will also need to remove the protective rubber floor) so you can easily remove the intake manifold just in front of the electric fans. The starter sounds nice and powerful when the crankshaft is spinning.
