I made a foolish move and purchased this item from my local store because I was so eager to connect it to my recently purchased beautiful Sony TV. After paying $17 for them, I checked out Revain and thought they were way better for only $8. This is what you get if you're in a hurry to buy before you research. I plugged it in on Saturday (7/22) and am now enjoying full spectrum 5.1 surround sound while playing video games and watching movies. The uniqueness of this chord also allows me to identify it when I need to do something with the connections on the back of my TV. The crystal clear sound of breaking glass almost makes me turn and look behind me when I know the sound is coming from the TV.
