Review on πŸ’Ž Durable Exchange Blade 2055004 with 1 Inch Diamond for Effective Cutting by Jordan Weakland

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A good cut, but a dubious start.

I bought this saw to cut holes in plaster and batten walls for 13:1 speaker wire routing. The cutting element of this hole saw is efficient enough to get a clean cut, but: there is a hard plastic guide as there is no pilot crown yet, again, as I understand it, the concern cares about outfitting their design department with sheepskin, not with People from the school of practical common sense. The supplied instructions are quite small in all dimensions. The only way I've found to make it work effectively is to cut 4 strips of tape for a sticum effect. The size of this guide should be doubled in height and width. Because of the way this one is sold I would NOT buy it or its siblings from the same bored pile. Cheap isn't always the answer.

Pros
  • Drill clean and accurate holes in ceramic, marble, glass, fiberglass and hardboard
Cons
  • Flimsy
