This key fob pouch is perfect for replacing the key fob on a Pontiac GTO when the buttons have worn out. This is not a project for beginners. You will need a dremel to carefully cut the old keychain in half. Once it breaks, plug the old chip and antenna into the new case. This is a snug fit, so you must FIT the CHIP COMPLETELY. It took a couple of assembles to figure it out, as the knobs didn't feel right once tightened and were so sensitive you could open the trunk by breathing on the key. To solve this problem, FULLY insert the chip by CAREFULLY pressing on different areas of the chip with the end of the key blade and driving it in with enough force to seat the chip but not too hard to break the chip . I also had to increase the antenna spring tension for added security. After this process, all buttons work and feel like they came from the factory. Couldn't be happier!
