Review on Canon EF 24mm f/1.4L II USM Wide Angle Lens - Fixed - Black, Model 2750B002 by Jeong Hoon ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Im amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

The lens is definitely the best in its category! An excellent wide-angle prime, which is suitable for very expressive portraits, as well as for landscape photography and for staged work. The wide angle lets a lot of space into the frame, and the 1.4 hole gives just gorgeous portrait bokeh! There is absolutely no distortion, as well as chromatic aberrations are minimized, which gives a rich, beautiful picture of the correct pleasant shape. The lens "pulls" the image to the edges, making it trapezoidal. When shooting cityscapes, blockages are common, but you won't see barrels. But with group portraits, you should be more careful (as in a joke: the photographer puts the guilty children in a wide angle))) - this glass is exclusively for creative work. In general, in my memory, this is the best purchase! I use it in tandem with a full-frame matrix (Canon 6D).

Pros
  • Maximum aperture - 1.4 No distortion Very well corrected chromatic aberrations The weight Package contents: lens hood, case available Simply tactilely pleasant glass!
Cons
  • They just don't exist! This is a top-end glass and reducing the price of the lens to disadvantages is frankly stupid - you need to know what you are giving that kind of money for! And the lens justifies all its investments.
