Save yourself the trouble! Do not buy this cutting board set!

Gorilla Grip cutting board. We bought this cutting board set because it had good reviews at Revain. We value reviewers very highly and trust purchases primarily based on ratings. And so we have to say with some melancholy and complete honesty that we are absolutely dissatisfied with the Gorilla Grip cutting board set after only a few weeks of use in the store. A house. Houses! No commercial use. Mainly for slicing vegetables, which requires NO slicing! Good: This is a very nice looking cutting board set. The white pre-cut area contrasts with the soft pink handles. There's a chute around the boards to collect liquids like blood and meat juices, which is a nice feature. Cons: The cutting surface works BADLY! Please look at the photos. After just two weeks of occasional home use, the cut surfaces were cut and scarred. Worse, these nicks in the board become havens for resin stains and bacteria. It's just gross! And it makes cleaning up all the crop marks a chore! We are seasoned foodies. So we know how to use the gentle touch of a knife. We practice cutting food while cooking, not with a cutting board. We don't chop the board and we don't use knives. Mainly paring knives and a French chef's knife. The durability of this cutting board set is terrible! We also like to use chopping boards to serve fruit and cheese. NO! Not with this board set! No food is served in Battlescar Gallactica! In just two weeks I'll be in the replacement cutting board market. I'm still hoping to get help from the review community to point me to a better product. And that's why I write reviews. We're in it together!
