Inaccurate dimensions. The perk turns off and heats up too soon. Directions are bad. My wife and I gave this thing so many chances that our rear window closed! While the construction is solid and comfortable to hold, it makes horrible coffee! If you follow the instructions, the water will turn yellowish-brown. When we found the measurement markings were off the marks by a few ounces, we kept trying and adjusting the grind coarseness and grind count. Even after nearly doubling the number of bases on offer, you can still see through a faint cup of coffee. Not new to hobs, have been using them for years. Terrible product!
