I have used these from time to time to clean tiles for their intended purpose and love the shape of the handle. However, there are some other products that work quite well. After a few months of use some of the bristles were loose but the item has been used with water and chemical solutions. THAT is what I have white walls and sometimes some stuff (food particles) gets on it so I have used it lightly with bristles before with difficulty and most of the time was able to remove the stain easily. I have noticed color transfer (see photo, note the lack of white mainly in the center and some of the bristles are slanted). All in all, it's a handy scrubber and has served me well. . It's easy to hold. I recommend it.
