Got this because I was tired of tripping over the 30 inch hose on our built in vacuum. At first I was disappointed because the carpet was difficult to push, but the company referred me to a video that showed me a tactic that cleared things up. This thing has such a powerful vacuum that the user has to move sideways and/or tilt their head to let in some air while cleaning the carpet. Works great. No more carrying and rolling up the awkward built-in tube and twisting your ankles when stepping on it. Other problems in other reviews (the tool falls off, the telescopic nozzle does not tighten, the hose comes off the top, difficult to tighten) did not happen to me at all. It's adorable to carry a vacuum cleaner instead of towing a canister or pushing a rack. I easily picked up some fallen artificial needles from our artificial Christmas tree and they stuck well in the carpet. This is a commercial model and I use it at home so I expect it will outlive me. Maybe I'll put that specifically in my will.
