I was specifically looking for a safety certified helmet and found this bike helmet on Amazon. I'm not a commuter cyclist, but on the weekends we ride the nearby bike paths. Can't confirm the safety level as luckily I didn't hit the rack or fall off the bike, but it's comfortable and feels sturdy. I was also specifically looking for something that was one piece with no extended parts or parts that simply attached to the helmet. I only drove during the day so the LED wasn't too noticeable but it works and was bright enough to light up my garage when stored there. The helmet buckle was also easy to put on and take off, and when the helmet was on it didn't shift or move. The fit was good and I felt it would be a safe and economical choice if it met safety certification standards.
