I love the feel and fit of this helmet but when I took it off it was used, it was scratched on one side and bent on the other and I'm disappointed and am sending it back. I have ordered many items from Revain and seen reviews saying they shipped used items. This is the first time I come across it. I am extremely disappointed

I've had this cute helmet for 6 months now. From the looks of it, you'd think I eat cobblestones for lunch every day. Luckily I didn't spill anything. It only scratches slightly. The metal clasp holding the bracelet fell off after two months of ownership. I had to glue it again. The look of the helmet is the only reason I didn't throw it away. *sigh*

At first I thought it would never fit. After removing the pads at the top of the helmet the fit was much better. I was very pleased with how snug it fits my head and covers my forehead area. I also wore it with a fleece lining on cold days and it fitted perfectly. A big plus is the built-in lighting.

At first I thought it was the Flintstones Big Gaza Alien helmet. After going through this I found it to be a comfortable and functional helmet. It's not aero, but that's okay, I don't go very fast. The brim on the front keeps the sun out of your eyes and the red light on the back looks pretty cool. So far so good, no idea how long it will last. The time will show. I'm happy with that.

I really liked how this helmet looked on the website and it looks even better in person. My only minor complaint is that the visor that comes with it is a different shade of white and my OCD brain doesn't like it (I'd rather have a black or red visor to match anyway). I was specifically looking for a safety certified helmet and found this bike helmet on Amazon. I'm not a commuter cyclist, but on the weekends we ride the nearby bike paths. Can't confirm the safety level as luckily I didn't hit the rack or fall off the bike, but it's comfortable and feels sturdy.
