Pencil tire gauges (TPGs) are notorious for cheap junk - I just threw away one that cost $2.99; in the 70s/80s you could rely on it, today you have to be careful and look around. This Milton TPG pin fits perfectly, I mean right where it needs to be on all four tires. Usually gone and you calibrate minus or plus to cheap junk. Once the pressure gauge is on, no air escapes - what a new idea, right. It is well made as described, it has some weight (brass plated) as opposed to cheap stuff that weighs like a feather. It's here, I actually ordered another one for the glove compartment.
