Review on Fintie Rotating Case for iPad Mini 5 2019 / ๐Ÿ”ฎ iPad Mini 4 - 360ยฐ Rotating Cover with Auto Sleep/Wake - Purple by Greg Moore

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Purple is not slippery (like photo); allows use in portrait mode; easy installation.

I had a photo and it was so smooth my fingers picked up moisture and felt wet/slippery. I have the purple one and it is MUCH better; The photo shows the texture. It is easy to put on/take off. There are 2 incline levels and that works for me (I like the lower one for typing). They hold up pretty well but the bottom one tends to slip out easily but I find it works. I use mine on my lap a lot and it works great for me. The rotation mechanism (landscape to portrait) is pretty loose, so be aware of that. Also, the front cover doesn't have a pull tab, so it pops open if you drop it all the way. As a result, the tablet does not protect the tablet when dropped on a hard surface. Sometimes I have to press the lid lightly to make sure my tablet goes to sleep. Despite the oddities, I really like him. I tried my husband's magnetic lid (new style, heavier) and it drove me crazy. Pulling the magnetic tab was PITA because it required 2 hands and generally searching to find where to pick it up. Unlike this one, they don't tilt deeply when typing either. However, they are much safer. As with most things, it depends on how you use it or if you tend to drop things.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Concise instructions
