This gorgeous, gun metal black stainless shaker handles only 1-2 drinks, depending the drink and amount of mixers. We are using it for martinis, and since they are are alcohol, we can fit two drinks with the necessary ice. I love the look so much, though, that I find myself pining for a larger one. The metal is thick and sturdy, and the mirror finish is distinctive, attractive enough to place on top of a bar. All the pieces fit together well. Presumably because of the finish, this shaker must be handwashed; I have no problem with that since I hand wash all of my barware.This would make a great gift for the bartender in your family, although I recommend a size larger than 18 ounces.-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann
