I wouldn't say they are the "best" but they are very good. I looked around and found them elsewhere for up to $700. The next step would be Norseman priced at $1,000 or more for a 115 piece set. The Revain price for it is good, less than half that of most retailers. I bought a light one because of the possibility of sharpening. Thus, there is no way to harden or temper the depth of the sleeve or the coating used to harden it. I bench sharpen to sharpen with a "drill bit" and lots of coolant to keep the bit cool.
