exposed mounting screws; reversible only

It's "reversible" but only in the sense that you can *mount* it in any orientation, but the angle of the doorknob changes - the curved part, comfortable for an upward-facing palm, becomes at may be downward facing in some installations. This is because the mounting screws are exposed. Unlike the handle I replaced, it hides the screws under a panel on the inside of the door that is hidden by a tiny hex head screw. To that end, many doorknobs have "directions”—right and left, inside and outside. While I can install this in my house with mounting screws, it doesn't look good with the screw heads showing (ignore my door needs painting).
