exposed mounting screws; reversible only

It's "reversible" but only in the sense that you can *mount* it in any orientation, but the angle of the doorknob changes - the curved part, comfortable for an upward-facing palm, becomes at may be downward facing in some installations. This is because the mounting screws are exposed. Unlike the handle I replaced, it hides the screws under a panel on the inside of the door that is hidden by a tiny hex head screw. So easy to install! And look great!

These Schlage lever knobs were so easy to install and looked a lot fresher than the 30 year old brass knobs they replaced. I'm not a very experienced 55 year old woman with zero repair skills, but after the first two tries I was able to remove the old doorknob and hasp and install one of them in less than 10 minutes.
