Quality build here. Great design. The seller says it can only be used on a boat but this device can be used to make an excellent emergency ladder in case someone falls in the water and needs to get out quickly. I live on Puget Sound, about 55 degrees year round. I screwed it through the 2x6 deck and attached it vertically. When you need it and you're in the water, simply pull it towards you and it slides out, getting you out of the cold water safely and quickly. In addition, it protects it from saltwater exposure when not in use. This product is highly recommended!
