Beautiful boat ladder.

This is the best boat ladder. I looked at many different stairs and am very glad I chose this one because it is perfect. It fits my boat perfectly and is very easy to install. The telescope works perfectly. I would definitely recommend this boat ladder to anyone and everyone.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Holds my 338 pounds great! That's enough for me!

I don't normally write reviews but this ladder is great! I installed it at the front of our pontoon so we can enter from the front when in the water. I weigh 338 pounds and this item was not moving when I picked it up. I was going to order another one for a side but the price has gone up $25 in a week since I bought mine. But it's still cheaper than other options and well worth it.

  • Easy to install

Quality ladder good for stairs

Quality build here. Great design. The seller says it can only be used on a boat but this device can be used to make an excellent emergency ladder in case someone falls in the water and needs to get out quickly. I live on Puget Sound, about 55 degrees year round. I screwed it through the 2x6 deck and attached it vertically. When you need it and you're in the water, simply pull it towards you and it slides out, getting you out of the cold water safely and quickly. In addition, it protects it from

Small, fat, handicapped or want an easy life - no problem!

I have a 2003 Bayliner Bowrider 175 IO and this ladder is the perfect replacement. I'm 5ft 1in and one day I almost couldn't get in my boat due to the size of the wave. I bought these and removed my original staircase last year. After a year of bad weather where I forgot to wear it and people of all sizes I can say this is a solid shoe, well made with no signs of rust or wear. I like it even more because when you step out of the water it tilts slightly and doesn't rock into the boat. If you are

Well made and easy to install

As with other reviewers the purpose of this purchase was to make it easier to get back on the boat after a swim. It was installed on a Boston Whaler Montauk 17 to replace a step that came with the boat. In order to clear the rear equipment, this ladder had to be installed a little farther than the previous one, but there was still plenty of platform space to bolt to. I used existing screws for the installation and am planning to replace them with new, longer screws and larger washers. I weigh…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • No instructions

This is a much heavier ladder, the brackets are really amazing, hold the ladder well off the platform and transom (I weigh 210lbs and it is solid !) We fish scuba/spearfish in the Persian Gulf, and with full scuba gear one of us is much more than 280-300#. There shouldn't be any problems. It's nice to have 4 steps when you're all prepared and bull sharks get dumber. You can get it on the boat much faster than 2 steps! It matched perfectly, hole for hole (the new one was 5/16" but the mids were…

Great stairs. no instructions.

The quality of the stairs was excellent. Installation instructions and screws were not included. I don't have mounting screws because the manufacturer doesn't know the thickness of your swim platform or hull. Mine was pretty basic, but anyone using this (stainless steel (ss)) ladder should use fasteners, which are also stainless steel and not zinc plated. My installation was quite difficult as I couldn't get to the drilled holes where the mounting screws protruded through the swim platform. I…

Great for fat boys! Better than a tuna net.

I don't write reviews so this company should be commended. I'm a fat man, 325 pounds. Besides food, loving my wife and kids, sailing from a boat is one of my favorite things to do. My newest boat had a two step ladder. Stepping onto the front driveway and trying to get up the stairs everyone is having fun on the boat and seeing lots of big white moons for all those watching along the shore. I looked into a winch and tuna net to get my loaded frame out of the water, but that would have resulted…
