I bought this product to replace a Klipsch Promedia 4.1 control unit. It replicates all the I/Os and controls of the OEM module, although not as well. The quality of materials is significantly inferior to OEM components. The resistance of the handle is firm although it rotates smoothly. The body is made out of fairly light plastic that flexes a little and feels light and untangible. The on/off button has a good click but wobbles and feels light and fairly cheap. The cables look and feel like any other cheap DIN to DIN cable and 3.5mm male to male. Completely unobtrusive, cheap cables. What can I say, everything works great. Turn it on, boom, my 17 year old factory Promedia 4.1 "B" is back in business. While it's not a premium experience, for the price it's possibly the best option available to keep an unusable setup for a few more years.
