Efficient and economical

This really is the best thing since sliced bread. Initially, I thought I needed a monitor-capable switch, but through experimentation, I found that these devices have more disadvantages than advantages. One of the worst is that they all gave out that annoying beeping sound. It's way better than any KVM switch with monitor support as you can actually switch between keyboard and mouse easily. The solution for the monitor was pretty simple, I connected my laptop with one type of cable and used a different cable for the computer so I could share the monitor. I just use the monitor's built-in ability to switch between different inputs as needed. Not only was this solution more economical β€” I saved myself about $30, the company even offered to ship me a power adapter for more powerful peripherals. If you only use low-power devices on this switch, you don't even need an extra power adapter, but it's really nice for me to be able to use all my peripherals with it. I think 4 ports is the ideal number. I also like that it's easy to switch with one button and doesn't beep (what a concept!). Nobody needs an annoying beep. The only thing I'd like to see in the future is the ability to have monitor support if you want it, as well as mouse/keyboard shortcuts (so I don't always have to use the button), but it's actually a great solution. Customer service is top notch and I will buy again and recommend this company/seller.
