Review on ⚡ Satco S8205 Mini Spiral CFL Soft White Light Bulb - Energy-efficient GU24 Base, 18W (75W), 1200 Lumens, 2700K by Jaime Alonso

Bought this bulb to fit in one of Home Depot's street lamps. Model: Wall Mount Hampton Bay Light - Dusk down. The flashlight had a 13 watt bulb which was too powerful for our needs. I was looking for lower power and there aren't many options, especially if you don't have to buy a lot. I was a bit wary based on another review that said the lamp stopped working after 3 weeks. In our case, there were no problems with the light bulb, it works perfectly. I would like to add that we don't use the sunset function to turn off our lantern, we put it on a timer. I don't know if using this feature will affect the lamp life. So in summary we are very happy with the purchase. The price in Prime is a little high, if you have to buy more than one it's a Prime edition, but Revain was the only retailer who didn't have to wait long. Happy again. To update; Today 6/3/2014 the bulb installed in March 2013 died This may seem normal but in June 2012 I put 5 Greenlite 9W/ELS-GU bulbs in the same nearby lights and only one stopped working recently . Same flashlight, same timer. The Greenlite lamp is a bit more expensive, but it lasted 9 months longer than the SATCO under the same conditions.
