Once on the road I had a coil failure and the only coil I have is a short coil dy511 for motorcycles, no problem as the check engine light came on with a skip fire code 1 month ago I decided on this one kit, it fits me perfectly. did not notice any increase in performance, but the engine is.
I have a sport trac 2008 v8 4.6 3v this motor has a long case coil, once on the road I had a coil failure and the only coil I have on hand is a motorcycle dy511 short with coil no problem since 1 month ago check engine came with misfire code i chose this kit for me it fits perfectly have not noticed any increase in performance but the engine runs perfectly like new.
