That Material is soft and time will tell how durable it is (cat scratched it a bit in the days we had it and so far so good). I am disappointed that the color is so different from the picture. Yes, yes, the colors on the monitors are different, but in the photo the top half of the rug looks white or very light blue. The carpet we received is darker/lighter in color than shown in the photo. Like a radiant sky blue. The stitching that borders the rug is also a deeper/lighter blue than the photos which makes it look cheap in my opinion. It's not the end of the world, but overall the effect is less modern/subtle than we wanted. With so much girly/candy blue this would be better in a child's bedroom than a modern adult living room.
