Review on Retaining External Circlip Assortment Stainless by Aaron Richardson

I needed an 8mm external locking clip and spent two days calling and visiting local shops, dealers and parts stores with no success! I finally gave up and ordered this set. It arrived quickly and since it's stainless steel I'm not worried about rusting. A few minutes later this assortment arrived, the starter was reassembled for me and a little later my car was running again. Apparently most local shops don't fix things anymore, they just remove and replace them. Of course it would be a lot easier to replace my starter with a new ($300) or remanufactured ($125) than replacing the 25 cent support brace, but I think that's a step up! Not only has this kit helped me, but I'm ready for the next time I just need the outer retaining ring.
