The display fell apart after a few months. He died suddenly a few years later.

Not that used to it but today it just didn't turn on. I took it apart and found nothing that was disconnected or obviously broken. I'm pretty sure it was just the display failing because the battery was warm. BTW, if you ever try to take one apart, there's a screw in the battery compartment under the control sticker. You can't see it until you remove the sticker.
