I am a bike courier and I have strong suspicions that if I get hit with my bike again and my bike gets smashed, this carrier will still be in perfect condition. I don't have a fancy chrome frame bike or a cheap lightweight aluminum bike - in fact my bike frame is a piece of steel and there's nothing light about it - yet this rack is trying to keep up with the weight of my entire bike. If you're looking for a front bike rack that can carry pizza while also being able to withstand bombing raids, then this is the one for you. If you're looking for a bike rack that will allow you to climb a steep hill when it's loaded (or unloaded - let's start small) without taking a few breaks or a sudden increase in third lung and/or a sudden increase in the Rule out superhuman strength, then that's not it. . The good news is that while this can give the bike an odd center of gravity, it's still in great shape even after a crash.
