This is the third progressive lowering kit I've done on my forks. All three also received 1 inch shorter Ohlins or Progressive shocks. This was done on a 2014 Harley Streetglide. This can be done without removing the plugs, but it's not very easy. I use hook 9 at the end of the coat. Suspension for hooking on the springs and a damper for detaching the springs. It's not very easy, but it's possible. This requires certain skills for installation and maybe even some tools that you might not have. The top caps on the connectors require a fairly large hex key/hex key. After loosening the clamp I improvised and put the head of the bolt in the cap and clamped 2 nuts together like my big hex to unscrew the caps. I changed the fork oil to synthetic fork oil 15W. Good oil and a progressive set of springs make the bike much less jerky when braking, especially when you're on the freeway in the summer and the fork oil thins out in the heat. I honestly like the ride and handling of the bikes better with this set than the stock. I've made a bike with -1 setup and a bike with -2 setup and bike -2 really should get a stand of -1 as the bike will be lowered so it's more straight when parked.
