solder paste I've wanted to try it for a long time. On a whim I ordered this a few nights ago. I've seen several videos of people soldering with a regular soldering iron. I tried that and it worked fine. Then I realized my wife had a cheap thermal embossing gun. I tried and the real magic happened. When heated, it melts and turns into a flow that spreads throughout the body. But after a few seconds, the solder itself appears and grabs the solder bumps, and then it seems like you did a perfect soldering. I'm certainly no expert, but this pasta exceeded my expectations. Surface mount components are no longer a nightmare.
