First of all, I would like to clearly state that the difficulty in installing the driver's side door handle is not due to a product defect or processing of the product. The pen looks and works well and is (in my opinion/experience) as good as if not better than the OEM. However, installation was an issue as the original handle fell apart in my hand when I tried to remove it and the screws holding it threaded into metal holes which were then pressed into the plastic frame. If you find yourself in this situation, it becomes difficult to remove the old handle as you will need screws to install the new handle. I believe the screws are steel and the receivers are aluminum which can cause galvanic corrosion. Have a rust remover handy to get rid of corrosion and a wire brush to clean the threads of the bolts for reuse.
