Review on PP Temperature Sensor Monitor Party Detection Test, Measurement & Inspection by Darrin Lucas

Suitable for Basement Freezer Monitoring

It seems to be one of the few consumer products that is actually suitable for Basement Freezer Monitoring. Other products have sensors that are placed in the freezer/fridge and send Bluetooth or Wi-Fi signals. The problem is that metal freezers/fridges interfere with the signals so remote monitoring (at least in my situation) was not possible. This product has a wired probe that I just put through the door seals. The PP code blocks are outside the freezers where they can easily connect to my home Wi-Fi network. At first I had some trouble connecting because my mesh network name and password contained characters that their PP code didn't accept. Also, my system runs on 5GHz and PP code only works on 2.4GHz. Instead of reconfiguring the main Wi-Fi network (and all connected devices), I created a 2.4GHz guest Wi-Fi with a very simple username and password. One of my 2 PP code sensors worked straight away and the second had to be reinstalled. I have set up alerts and they are tested perfectly. Although it took a little longer than I expected to get everything working, I'm very happy with the result. For my purposes, the generated data is sufficient without purchasing an additional subscription.
