The product is good, there are only a few minor flaws.
In general, the sink copes with its tasks with a bang, but there are some unpleasant nuances. To begin with, I would like to focus on why the lack of a timer is a problem. As I said, you can not use the device for a long time in high humidity, and at night this is inevitable. When I first bought this sink, I left it overnight, which resulted in odor problems. When I realized what was the matter, I began to use the remaining water before going to bed (and now, of course, I never fill a full tank), ventilate the room well and pour half a liter to catch up with humidity and not overmoisten the air. I would like to just set a timer before going to bed, so as not to engage in such perversions. Now about how I got rid of the smell. In another air washer that I use, but for other rooms, there is no vaunted silver rod, and instead of it, 4 drops of Polysept-Dez are added to the water after each washing of the device (they are enough, by the way, for a full week, if anyone something interesting). If an odor appears, it is recommended to add 30 drops without turning on the device. So, I took off the moisturizing mat, filled it with water and added 30 drops, soaked for several hours, after that for several hours in a solution of citric acid (it also eliminates the smell - 2 tsp per liter) - the smell disappeared. Now I only use drops. I tried using both the drops and the rod, but the mat started to stink again. I removed the rod completely, and the smell disappeared, I no longer suffer. So the rod is a publicity stunt that misleads buyers and nothing more. Don't think it's a "magic pill". If "Electrolux" (or soon "Vard", as I understand it) specialists read this review, I hope that they will take into account the errors of this model and put on sale something that does not have the aforementioned shortcomings. I would be glad if this review helps people who are looking after an air washer, find out the pitfalls of this device, as well as people who have encountered an unpleasant odor. - - no matter what anyone says, but the design is decent when compared with relatively cheap specimens - some look like a trash can, on which they put a "head" with fans - high performance - due to the moisturizing mat, the performance is approximately the same for any filling of the tank, unlike petal drums, which are highly dependent on the amount of water in the tank (I have one, so I know what I'm talking about) - good air inlet (top), which allows the sink to capture more dust - the presence of a preliminary air filter - low noise level - night mode does not interfere with falling asleep, day mode, by and large, merges with other external noises (again, there is something to compare with) - ease of washing and disassembling the device, the moisturizing mat is removed from the drum, washed separately
- - the absence of any indication of the amount of remaining water. after all, it was possible to make a place in the pan for some simple transparent rice to see how much water was left. personally, I use a flashlight in the holes in the case to see how much of the contacts are covered with water (strange and inconvenient) - a silver rod for water purification - nothing more than a marketing ploy. he does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, but he added the cost of washing, for sure, rather robustly so at the exit. there were moments when I washed the device every other day, but nothing helped. Let me know in the comments what helped. - it turns out that you can not use the device for a long time at a humidity of 55+%. if the humidity is close to 60%, and the device continues to work, then the moisturizing mat starts to stink very quickly (in my case, the smell is similar to raw onions). Nowhere is this written, but I would like to know this from the very beginning. - minus arising from the previous paragraph: the absence of any very simple timer - the manufacturer recommends washing the mat in a washing machine, but the edges of this very mat are not covered by anything, so when you try to put it in a washing bag, the fibers sticking out of the edges cling to it. I would like the edges to be neat too, in some kind of shell or something, and there would be no such inconvenience. it seems that they somehow cut it off at the factory, and that something is sticking out is no longer important - more of my opinion, of course, but first the switch should go at low speed, and then the maximum speed. for some reason it's the other way around
