Salinity Tester seems to be working well. I've tested tap water, reverse osmosis, ice makers, and tap water for traces of salt. I've focused on tap water outdoors in hopes that I'm not watering my outdoor plants with little salt water to slow their death. Phew, the water outside is fine, as is the rest of the water around the house. Since I didn't find any salt in any of my tests, I dissolved some salt in the reverse osmosis water and tested again. Yes, there was a measurable salt concentration. Good. I have faith in the tester and the results, although I may never use it again. I'll probably just leave the tester lying around and borrow it or give it away, "pay in advance" so to speak. The tester was well wrapped and packaged. I put the batteries in the wrong way around on the first try, so keep that in mind. It takes a little time to figure out the selection buttons. Simply press and release for normal use and to turn on/off. Do not hold down until you have accessed the special function. Nice tool and I'm glad I ordered it. Thanks very much!
