A very unique and VERY handy depth adjustable ratchet screwdriver; with a variety of bits. A+

I love this ratchet screwdriver. So far it has far exceeded my expectations. The grip feels solid and comfortable. The brass socket is spring loaded and you push on it to load the bit. The ratchet is a gray bushing under a brass bushing and has three positions: tighten, free turn and loosen. The chassis is smooth, no play. I've had the set for about a month and have already tried it. It will be interesting to see how well the ratchet works over time. If so, it's going to be one of the best store addons I've made in a long time. Intelligent bit design. The bits are about 6" long and have indentations every 5mm along the length of the bit, allowing you to adjust the depth of the screwdriver from a minimum of 3" to a maximum of just over 5" (see photo). I'm not sure how much torque I want to set on 5 inches since there is only about an inch of the bit in the ratchet. However, the easily adjustable bit depth is very practical. The eight (8) bits provided are reversible, with a design on each end. The set includes slotted bits (3), Phillips bits (4), star bits (4), triangular bits (3) and multiple U bits (2). If I have a nit, that's it. It's working well for now, but it seems cheap and I don't expect it to last long. The position of the ratchet in the body is also a bit odd. However, I didn't buy a case kit. I am very satisfied with this set and hope that it will serve me for many years to come. Well done KER"Since 1985".
