Works well and ready same day. It is not recommended to wait more than one day (24 hours). This tape is easy to use when fresh. If you have a roll that you've left in the garage for a year to warm up and cool down, you're going to hate it. The tape tears a little at a time, so don't buy it extra to store and use later. That's why I'm buying this new reel. This is not masking tape. works great for what it is. Also good for marking storage areas or taping plastic to the floor when painting, and it's a lot cheaper than painter's tape. also comes directly from the carpet.
