I used these to supplement lighting on a white prelit christmas tree.The good:They're nearly invisible and have a champagne color in the day time when turned off. Perfect for a white tree that shows everything.The color modes are fun and absolutely beautiful making them versatile for multiple uses and seasons.USB power gives various compatibility options.You need fewer light strands overall than a standard light string. I used one on my 6ft tree and I'm happy with it.The bad:They are fragile. One of the wires was broken out of the box interrupting the connection between the first quarter of the strand and remainder. I thought I would have to return them and get another but my husband suggested soldering it back together. It was disappointing but worked and I didn't bother with the hassle of returns.The remote needs to be fairly close to control the mode.These tangle quite badly which increases the risk of breaking them and makes setup exceptionally frustrating.Overall they're okay. I don't think they're going to last but I'll enjoy them while they do.
