Universal and multifunctional

The design is excellent, very minimalistic. Features like 10G and the ability to use the device for multiple functions are great. I really only need it as a backup, so I'm not expressing what it has. 10G: It works, but there's really no improvement over traditional hard drives. The advantage is that it bypasses the 1Gb network and thus does not use the full bandwidth for other devices. Movie Streaming: Using the PLEX app works well for movie streaming, but not for large 4K files due to the inability of the processor to decode. them.CPU: as above, understand what you need and decide. Some applications/features will not work if there is no Intel chipset. Music streaming: like a charm. Noise: a bit high in my opinion. You really need a place away from your ears, otherwise the constant noise is annoying, especially at work. I turn it off all the time which means I no longer use it for daily streaming as I don't have network storage space outside of my ear. I use it to backup to another OS for extra security. In terms of functionality, a small Win10 machine performs better with DrivePool and Scan or even with built-in Win10 storage spaces. The form factor is hard to come by in PC format, the latest being the HP Microserver.
