Despite what you read in the reviews, these knives dull quickly. I hardly used these knives as I have them in my RV. The big knife is so blunt that it's difficult to cut paper, it's of little use. If they were steel knives, I would have sharpened them by now. But no, they are ceramic and you need special diamond grinding wheels to sharpen them. There is a good deal on the knives, for now you need to buy Shenzhen electric knife sharpener. I have a Chef's Choice electric sharpener at home and it doesn't even come close to sharpening these knives. When you buy these knives, be on the lookout for sharpening problems. Personally, I will never buy ceramic knives again, no matter the price.
