We first spent over $70 on a Delta In2uition showerhead that was complete plastic trash. It's a shame to pay so much for plastic waste. I returned it and set about building my own airtight and solid setup. I started with the shower head holder, which is almost always made of plastic in most sets. Folks, this Hammerhead Shower Holder is the holder you've been looking for when you need something durable and leak-proof. It is solid, solid brass/metal and very easy to assemble. Take a roll of MegaTape thread sealant, wrap the pipe a couple of times (I did three times) and screw on the retainer. With plastic kits, it can be fairly easy to over-tighten the fitting, causing instant leaks. This holder is very easy to assemble with no cross threads and provides a strong seal. Then I made sure to buy a metal hose that is also durable. I paired it with a Sakaika 6 function shower head which had great reviews and a rod which had full adjustment that didn't leak (it even came with instructions on how to remove the flow control). It has an amazing print as well as a stylish design with a brushed nickel finish. Do yourself a huge favor and create your own setup by starting with this shower head holder. You will not regret it. The price I paid for all components (holder, hose and head) was about the same as what I paid for Delta and way more than the crap they are trying to sell.
