Damaged before shipping, quality OK

Just received this and used it once. When I received it the front metal plate was badly bent, although the paintwork was fine, as was the manufacturer's box and the shipping box. This pretty much tells me that it was placed in a damaged box and the panel was probably bent before the product was even assembled as there isn't even a scratch on the paint around the damaged area. CONS: Light, flimsy, cheap tubing, flimsy wires, although it comes with a 20 amp fuse which doesn't make sense to me. If you have a large car or truck, you will need an extension cord, sold separately. Gauge is approximately 4.5 pounds at actual pressure for intended use (compressor off). The case it comes in is made of very thin material. Poor quality control indicates damage. PROS: The brass fittings on the hoses appear to be of good quality and don't leak. He's short and gains a few pounds in a hoop pretty quickly. I've made 12 hoops, ranging from 1 to 5 pounds each, in a relatively short amount of time. It didn't get too hot, partly because it takes a little time to connect and disconnect cables, put caps on tires, etc. If you're in a real hurry or inflating "empty" tires, this might be one different story. I called the company about a bent metal plate, their answer? Bring it back to Revane.
