At the same time I replaced the upper A-arm along with this ball joint. I had a lock nut but it didn't fit so I took it to the hardware store and bought a real one. The supplied nut has a 14mm x 1.5 fine thread. I bought a 14mm x 2.0 coarse thread nut and it fitted perfectly. The lock nuts also have a nylon insert to prevent the nut from loosening. This can make it difficult to install a ball joint on the bolt that rotates with the nut. There is a 10mm hex on the top of the bolt to keep it from turning. Well I also bought a 14mm 2.0 coarse thread nut without the nylon insert and was able to use a 22mm head ratchet to set the bolt in Arm A. Now you can remove that nut and install the lock nut, but I just put the lock nut on regular nut. A 21mm wrench is required to loosen the three bolts at the top of the differential case. I would give five stars if it came with the correct lock nut.
