Incredibly thin and light but works fine
It feels like plastic. I'm not convinced it is brass. Maybe an alloy. Definitely had to push the barb in tight but it makes a watertight seal for a garden hose.

Worked good, glass of boiling water to soften the hose and slipped right on. Hard to find an actual 3/4 hose adapter, this is one of them. Will buy again
