Review on 2020 CMW Toyota Navigation SD Card for USA and Canada - Latest Update (86271-0E072) by Justin Munajj

Everyone wants a magic wand, preferably cheaper than this, but definitely cheaper than the dealer. The product I received was a 2019 card prepared for the 2020 market year and after carefully reading other reviews before purchasing I realized that it was exactly what I expected. In the Avalon 2015, the card slot is located vertically to the right of the touchscreen behind a barely visible plastic flap labeled "Card Card". (one). REPLACING THE MINI HD CARD: The plastic flap is held in place by two plastic tabs, one at the top and one at the bottom right of the flap. By carefully prying the door open with a small thin flathead screwdriver on the driver's side, I was able to remove the door without damaging it. If you have never seen mini SD cards, let me tell you that they are very small and they are black on black. But visually in the dashboard, it's a shiny vertical line on the right side of the box that was previously hidden by a door, and when you press it, it pops out slightly. You won't need it anymore, but by putting the white handkerchief in the cup holder you can throw it away temporarily. A newly purchased mini SD card should be inserted vertically into the slot, with the gold contacts facing the passenger side of the vehicle, and gently insert until it clicks into place. You can then slowly and carefully push the door back into position. (2). MAP INITIAL: DO NOT start the engine. WITHOUT depressing the brake pedal, press the start button. You are in ACCESSORY mode and Avalon is checking the new card's properties. It will then start displaying information and instructions for you on the screen. When Avalon has finished loading and initiating - in this case, it took twelve minutes - HE WILL TELL YOU that you can start the engine. (3). START YOUR NEW LIFE TOGETHER: THEN you can hit the brakes and press the ignition button again - and all your worries should be behind you! I found that all of my settings and choices stayed the same and worked as always, only the database and maybe some of the graphics were improved. I am very happy, I hope you are too!
