Review on K4656 Drilled Slotted Evolution Ceramic by Mario Newton

After about 28,000 miles I had a brake failure on our TDI Touareg - my rear brakes were fine so only the front ones needed replacing. The factory option was supposed to cost me $984 including the labor to just swap out the faceplates, which is insane. The factory brakes leave a lot to be desired, so I took a chance and bought this kit. My car has electronic brake sensors which are NOT included in this kit and I bought them from the dealer ($65 for a pair, also crazy and I will buy an aftermarket next time). The swap took almost an hour but the highlight of the story is that these brakes are amazing compared to the factory discs and pads! They feel a lot more reliable and stop a lot better. I've worn them for 3,000 miles and I love them!
