Review on Capri Tools 20 245 Torque Wrench by Andy Edwards

I'm used to working with a beam torque wrench. It was quite an old-fashioned technique, but I used this to tighten my truck wheels since it was the only torque wrench that could go up to 140 ft-lbs that I had. I bought a Harbor Freight torque wrench and forgot to check the box and I think it only went up to 80 ft lbs so I returned it. I found this at Revain and saw it go up to 150ft so I had to try it. That's a good torque wrench. I haven't done any scientific testing on it but it seems to be as accurate as my bar torque wrench and the click when it hits the torque spec is loud and you can feel it through the tool. After use, reset the torque wrench to zero to keep it accurate and make sure the small lock/unlock button on the torque selector is set all the way to lock. I unlocked it and overtightened the bolts on the transmission pan and crushed the gasket. Although it was probably my fault.
