Available but. Garbage.

Pros: - accessible - feels heavy - clear instructions but you have to read everything Cons: - difficult to turn the dial - the plastic case is made with a bigger key, so it's unnecessarily large and you can hear it if you tilt it to the side, "knocking" inside. - Wasn't blocked, so I hope transport with a humming suitcase didn't mess up the calibration. - I don't know if this is standard, however you need to "warm it up" by tightening 8 screws before each use. I was wondering if I needed a…

  • Definitely a bad product

It works, but the clicking is very quiet. The calibration took 1 year.

Torque is too quiet. You have to go very slowly and pay very close attention, then you will feel more than you hear. I'm sticking with it because it works, but I wish they would make them louder. Basically, there was a learning curve on my end. After a year of use, torque settings are down about 10-12 pounds across the board. I will contact the company to find out how the calibration process goes and update my review afterwards. This key is used weekly. Sometimes daily and sometimes I don't use

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Good budget torque wrench

I have been using this torque wrench for several years now. I give it five stars because it's easy to use and (most importantly) feels accurate. To evaluate its accuracy I compared it to another torque wrench and the results were very similar. I have a few criticisms, but none of them would be so severe as to cost him stars in the reviews. After all, this is a budget torque wrench. It would be nice if there was a clearer and louder click when the torque reaches the set value. The click is…

Looks like a quality tool with a few issues.

This key worked right out of the box. I've tested various torque settings on the lug nuts and it seems to be right where it should be. The only thing is that it is extremely difficult to set the maximum torque in it. There is a distinct crunch as you turn the crank to the maximum position, which becomes progressively more difficult as you approach 150 ft/lbs. I'm not sure why that is, but I'm a little hesitant to believe in this tool. It also came from the factory with no lubrication on the…

Good, accurate and smooth

I'm used to working with a beam torque wrench. It was quite an old-fashioned technique, but I used this to tighten my truck wheels since it was the only torque wrench that could go up to 140 ft-lbs that I had. I bought a Harbor Freight torque wrench and forgot to check the box and I think it only went up to 80 ft lbs so I returned it. I found this at Revain and saw it go up to 150ft so I had to try it. That's a good torque wrench. I haven't done any scientific testing on it but it seems to be…

My new FAVORITE instrument!

This is a fantastic item. I've used it on so many fasteners to adjust the valves on my wife's Honda Pilot 04. Throttle bodies, intake manifold covers, intake manifolds, valve covers, rocker arm shafts, spark plugs, etc. It's perfect for all those low torque nuts and bolts. Simply multiply by 12 to convert typical feet/bls to inches/lbs. BTW: For spark plugs, I highly recommend getting a 1/4"-3/8" adapter ($5 for a set of 5 at Harbor Freight). You can then use your regular 3/8" spark plug wrench

Pros
  • Key
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Recommended torque wrench for those on a budget

This is a good value for money product. I took the wrench to the calibration lab we have at work and verified that the wrench was within 3% of the set value at all the points I tested. At this price you don't get a finely machined tool - when you adjust the wrench you can feel the outer tube rubbing against the inner tube, and when you return the wrench to the lowest position the knob tends to loosen. from the end of the female thread part, but easily unscrews. The end doesn't fall off, it just

Inconsistent - Torque Wrench

Capri 1/4 T Wrench looks good, size is good and scale range is good, but when you hold it and wiggle the handle, it has plenty side game. Circle, the lock did not stop the handle from rotating because the handle's play allowed movement and this raised concerns about accuracy and quality, so I checked the torque at the lowest and middle points of the stand. You can google the luggage scale method. Yes. Both tests were within the specified range of acceptable values. I figured if you were careful

  • Not as thick as the other
