I bought this to install a door on our exterior wall as I wanted something that would fit well. In hindsight I'd come up with my own solution because: - it's incredibly expensive for two molded plastic parts - it doesn't seal well so you have to use silicone sealant meaning you can't easily remove the parts if you do want to clean / save door. Don't forget to seal it with silicone or you'll get a ton of water in your house. In general, it should be 1/3 the price and have options for mounting on the door. this is a seal and can be removed for maintenance.
