I was a bit worried when I bought these as they were very cheap and I had read some bad reviews. Mine bolted directly to the existing trailer light mounts. I had to drill a center hole in the brackets to get the wires through as my old light wires were coming out of the bottom of the lights. It was a breeze to connect. Yellow to yellow, brown to brown and green to green. I put round spade lugs on the white ground wires. I then sanded to clean the metal at the spot on my trailer light brackets where one of the mounting bolts went. I put the eye on the bolt then put the nut on and tightened and everything worked as it should. Haven't ridden them or driven my boat yet but will update this review if anything changes. So far I couldn't be happier.
